Being an Informed Citizen
Many new residents move to Rose Villa from outside the region. It can take a while to learn the ropes at Rose Villa, let alone learn who all the area representatives are.
Federal Level
Our two US Senators are Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley. They serve six-year terms.
We are in the 5th Congressional District. Lori Chavez-DeRemer is our current representative. Here is the link to her homepage.

State Level
Rose Villa is in the 41st State House District.
Our current representative is Mark Gamba. Representatives serve 2-year terms.

County Level
Rose Villa is in an unincorporated part of Clackamas County. The Board of County Commissioners, or BCC, consists of five county residents who are elected to four-year terms.
Subscribing to the Oregonian is an excellent way to stay informed and support local newspapers. An online subscription is a little cheaper and more convenient. Online subscribers receive an email each morning with a link to that day’s edition.
There is also a group of local newspapers run by Pamplin Media. They host several regional papers, such as Milwaukie/Clackamas, Lake Oswego, West Linn, and Portland. Subscribing through their website is not the easiest. You may want to contact them at 503-620-9797 or circulation@pamplinmedia.com
Municipal Level
Although Oak Grove is unincorporated in Clackamas County, it does have an Oak Grove Community Council. They have meetings on Zoom on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm. All the information is on their website.
