Storing Energy with Pumped Water

A Green Team series on clean energy resources in Oregon beyond wind and solar.

Erik Steimle of Rye Development will discuss the prospect of storing energy with pumped water.  The company has proposed building a large pumped hydro facility near Goldendale, WA, to store energy produced by the wind turbines along the Columbia River. 

The lecture on storing energy with pumped water will be the third in a series of presentations organized by the Green Team on lesser-known clean energy resources in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
