Privacy Update

We hope you’ve been enjoying the new look of our resident website, RVillagers, since its August launch! We aim to bring residents closer by showcasing our activities, talents, and unique quirks, building a stronger sense of community.

In response to recent security and privacy concerns shared by residents, we are adjusting access to RVillagers.org. Starting Tuesday, November 12, only devices connected to Rose Villa’s on-campus wireless networks (RV-Resident and RV-Guest) will have access to the website.

What This Means for You:

• On Campus: Everything stays the same! If you’re on Rose Villa’s wireless network, you can continue to use RVillagers without any changes. For the few residents connected directly to the internet through the Comcast ethernet, we will work with you to allow your connection. 
• Off-Campus: If you’re off-campus and try to access RVillagers, you’ll be prompted to enter a password.
• Your Privacy Matters: To protect residents’ privacy, only those connected to Rose Villa’s wireless network can view content on RVillagers. This means your friends and family can’t access the site directly, but feel free to share it with them when they visit!

Need Off-Campus Access?

No problem. You can request a password if you need to use RVillagers while off-campus. Contact Andrea Drury or Ed Gellenbeck, and they’ll set you up.
