Allyship: A Native Ally is a person who actively seeks to foster understanding, respect and meaningful connections in support of Indigenous people.
Some ways to support Indigenous Peoples
- Educate yourself about their history, culture, traditions, current issues, and treaties.
- Respect Native leadership, treaties, and traditions.
- Support Native businesses, art, organizations, and Native issues through purchases, donations, and/or volunteering.
- Form relationships by attending events and inviting/attending seminars.
