Delta Park Powwow

Sunday morning, June 16, 2024, a group of Rose Villa residents traveled by RV van to the Delta Park Powwow in North Portland. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly as visiting elders and given meal tickets, which we used to try Indian tacos and other forms of the Native staple, fry bread. Chairs were arranged for us under cover, and with a good view of the dance arena. We enjoyed the food, vendors, drumming, and dancing. Linda Abbey took advantage of our excellent location to take wonderful photos of the dancers. Stephanie took some short videos.
