Council Election Details
The October, 2024, election is by secret ballot and all residents, as members of the Rose Villa Life Plan Community, may vote.
Dates
- October 18 — ballot in your cubby.
- November 1 — ballots due at the Resident Services Counter.
- November 5 — results announced at the Council meeting, which will double as the Annual Meeting.
District Councilor Candidates
District Councilors are elected to represent their District by residents of the District. These elected Councilors serve a 3-year term so that over a 3-year period each District elects 3 Councilors. Election of a District Councilor requires a quorum of 25% of Association members within that District to participate in the vote. In the case of a tie vote for any Councilor position, the Executive Committee will select a winner.
- North District: Becky Gish
- Middle District: Marilyn Gottschall and Jan Wainscott
- South District: Dale Hawkins
Officer Candidates
Each year, a Vice Chair is elected for a 3-year term. In the second year the then Vice Chair becomes the Chair. In the third year the Chair becomes the Past Chair.
This year a Treasurer will be elected to serve for a 3-year term and a Foundation Liaison, proposed by the Foundation Board, will be elected to serve a 1-year term.

And three residents will be up for election to complete their appointed terms:
