Al was exposed to photography when his older brother occasionally turned their bedroom into a processing lab. Afterwards, he took photos only casually until his daughter was born. Two years later he began working at a photographic products manufacturer as a product design and manufacturing chemist involved with all types of photographic products. Needless to say the availability of free film and processing augmented Al’s photography hobby.
After meeting Pat (Rehberg), they travelled extensively and due to their biking, hiking and skiing Al eventually downsized from an SLR to his current smart phone.
Al enjoys taking pictures while traveling as well as nature and otherwise quirky subjects. As a member of the Photography Club at Rose Villa he enjoys the sharing of photographs others bring.
