Creativity comes in all forms! Many of us know Kathy Phelan’s love for story telling, but few know her lasting love and passion for dog agility training, which she has been involved in over the years. Kathy’s dog, Shaleeh, is a Mini Aussie who is filled with energy and loves following Kathy’s verbal as well as hand commands along the garden course outside her house.
Above is a picture of Shaleeh and Kathy after winning Shaleeh’s division of the NW Regional North American Dog Agility Council competition. At the right you can see Shaleeh prancing across the dog walk at the North American Dog Agility championships.
Kathy and Shaleeh were both more active before Covid hit, traveling to “meets” outside of Rose Villa. Now they are inclined to work out at home, but Kathy admits to missing the people and challenging courses and may just be ready soon to return.
