Mary Swick scarf

Mary learned how to knit when she was ten. She kept knitting off and on throughout her life, sometimes to make baby knits and even later to knit garments for her daughter’s dolls.

In 2006 she found a teacher in Portland and has been studying with her ever since. She finds the many aspects of knitting fascinating, and most especially the countless stitches there are to learn.

Today she attends the Fiber Circle here at Rose Villa where she is joined by others who enjoy creating with fiber.
