Mehri’s Bakery and Cafe Restaurant Review

Mehri’s is a very unprentious little cafe on 52nd, serving breakfast and lunch most days (they are closed Monday and Tuesday). It’s run by a mother and son and the food is absolutely scrumptious. It’s not particularly cheap; we paid $17 per person for lunch recently. But it is totally worth it and worth the trip to get there. You can get wonderful desserts for takeout, too. The address is 6923 SE 52nd Ave, Portland, but it’s nowhere near downtown.
