AQI Dashboard
Rose Villa and its residents have installed multiple Purple Air monitors on campus that provide real-time readings of the air quality index (AQI).
Rose Villa has four outside AQI monitors, three in the RV areas of air refuge, and eight monitors in independent-living homes. Their readings are reported here in real time.
You may also view the readings on the Purple Air map (Note: Click on the white pop-up box in the upper left corner of the Purple Air map and check “Show Outside.”). Check out the Oregon Fire Map & Tracker for possible causes of poor air quality.

Rose Villa’s Areas of Air Refuge
Rose Villa has identified three areas of air refuge where residents can gather if the air quality inside their homes becomes too unhealthy. Rose Villa staff will set up portable, industrial-strength air scrubbers in these areas of refuge to remove the harmful small particulates in the air.

Indoor AQI Readings
Many residents have chosen to install Purple Air indoor AQI monitors to get real-time readings of their indoor air quality. The AQI readings reinforce the effectiveness of indoor HEPA air purifiers.
