Caroline Lehman (Garden Grove)
Caroline’s love of crafting with fiber began in the 1960s, when she embroidered her bell bottoms with flowers, macraméd plant hangers and place mats, knit scarves, and crocheted hippie vests. Crocheting and knitting have always been a major part of her fiber art, although the new millennium found her sewing up unique evening bags, totes, and 5 Element-inspired purses of all kinds. This lasted until Caroline decided to pick up her crochet hooks once again. She now focuses on making practical blankets, market totes, wraps, and scarves, finding it to be a relaxing, meditative activity that brings much joy… along with precious memories.
