The Art of Itinerant Teaching: for teachers of the deaf & hard of hearing (371), published in 1997. Itinerant teaching requires both regular classroom skills and many other professional skills for teaching deaf and hard of hearing students. Itinerants also work directly with the parents and teachers of hearing loss students. At the time Mary Deane wrote this survival manual, it was the only resource for current itinterants and those still learning to teach hearing loss mainstreamed students.
