Pat McAleer — Weaving

Pat McAleer (South Central)

Pat McAleer

Pat loves colors, fibers and designs, and has since childhood. She always wants to touch knits, weaving, felted wool, fabrics and quilts, although she says “Touching a quilt in a show is a big No No.” Pat enjoys experimenting. She made a table runner of recycled sheets and in a weaving class learned how to make fabric strips from recycled silk blouses and incorporate them into scarfs. The quilt, though unfinished, has cut out leaves attached to some of the quilt blocks. One of Pat’s many goals is to spend more time making fiber creations.
