We just discovered a food gem not too far from Rose Villa. The restaurant (don’t let the name spook you) is Street Disco, 4144 SE 60th Avenue (near Foster), (503) 327-8280. Open Thursday through Sunday.
Master Chef Kyle serves up an eclectic menu ranging from grilled skewers, meatballs, grilled cabbage salad, and Midnight tagliatelle. Last night, we shared an incredible grilled sugar snap pea salad with lime citrus and goat cheese plus a charred Ono Crudo combined with blood orange, agua chile, radish, and cucumber sauce.
No doubt that this relatively close-to-home joint will join one of my FAVS lists.
