Bean Bag Baseball: This Game is for Everyone!

by Carol Brownlow

Information:

Beanbag baseball meets twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:00 in the PAC. If the weather is conducive, we meet just outside the PAC entrance. Each session, participants are assigned to either Team A or Team B. An attempt is made to balance the skill between the two groups. If you signed up, please show up. You may play either day or both. DROP INs are encouraged. Come and give it a try!

Requirements to play:

You must be able to toss a bean bag underhand at least 10 feet. THAT’S IT! There is no running, catching, throwing or batting. Where you toss the bag on the target determines your success. You must be willing to cheer for your opponents as well as your teammates. No harassing or trash talk is allowed. You must understand that the objective is to have fun (winning or losing). You are encouraged to sign up with Carol Brownlow @ cjbrownlow4@gmail.com to get yourself on the list or to get questions answered.

Editor’s note: If you’ve heard the shrieks, laughter, and applause coming from the PAC, you know this is a fun game. Below are photos of the goal and of Evelyn Cole playing.
