In early 2021, six of your friends and neighbors here at Rose Villa submitted their short stories to the creative writing contest sponsored by LeadingAge Oregon.

Carl Petterson’s story, Candles for the New World, was selected as the “Judge’s Choice Short Story.” Evelyn Cole, Elliot McIntire, Patrick Mizelle, Lynn Thomas, and Bob Watt also entered stories.
