Rose Villa residents John and Marilee Wetten recently donated over twelve acres of undeveloped land to Clackamas County for use as a park. The land is located between Canby and Oregon City. The park area is wooded, featuring cedar, fir, cottonwood, and cherry trees. It has a spring-fed pond and a wetland, a beaver colony, herons, and walking trails. The donation requires that the land be used in perpetuity for open space park purposes. (Information from MyClackCo newsletter.)
