I had Saturday brunch at Salty’s on the Columbia River (3839 NE Marine Dr., Portland) during a visit from my brother.  The view, service & food were great.  Upon learning we had a guest from N. Carolina they emphasized that we were to take our time & visit with each other.  Service was leisurely.   My lemon blueberry French toast was delicious, 2 brioche slices topped with a lemon sauce & handful of fresh blueberries.  I easily ate all of it.  The fish & chips were generous & declared delicious with the fish done just right. The crab cake topped with poached egg was greatly enjoyed by my son in law who also cooks.  The two having the shrimp & grilled pork belly strips over grits thoroughly enjoyed them. All belonged to the clean plate club.
