Restaurant Review: Vida 33 Latin Bistro

by Alice Hardesty

Vida 33 Latin Bistro is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in the area. The food is delicious and the prices are super reasonable. I started going there when it was just a coffee shop — the coffee was great and the pastries way too good.  Then they started offering a limited lunch menu and I began the enchilada habit, which I haven’t broken even after having dinner there several times.  They’re only open for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights but they’re open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday.  And it’s NOT NOISY, which is really nice for our aging ears.  They’re now offering a Happy Hour Menu and we’ve put some copies of it on the table in the mail room.  They’ll have a new dinner menu soon, but you can still order off the old one.  Beer and cocktails are available, don’t know about wine.  Going north on McLoughlin, turn off on Scott Street and take an immediate right into the parking lot. Or, you can turn east on Harrison Street, then left on Main and left on Scott, and then left into the parking lot.  The address is 10600 McLoughlin Blvd. Milwaukie.
