there is a new homemade ice cream place in the neighborhood that is excellent: Neighborhood Creamery, 13735 SE McLoughlin Blvd.  It is at the North end of the little strip mall where Sushi Kata restaurant is located at the corner of Courtney and McLoughlin.

A couple took over the old Baskin Robbins location there and are making their own ice cream.  Lots of flavors and it is delicious! Perfect for summer evenings.
