During the month of April, we have an abundance of events related to the Earth Day theme.  A detailed schedule will appear on Toutchtown, the Trumpet, and in a special flyer with specifics.  Expect fun mixed in with serious talks about the climate conundrum, reducing carbon emissions, clean wind energy, regenerating our soil, and reducing waste to name a few. There will be  Zoom movies every Saturday at 6:30 PM, interactive zooms on living lightly to benefit future generations, and the Bill Gates new book “How to Avoid Climate Disaster”.  On Earth Day itself there is a bird walk, a special showing of short films, with the highlight being the launch of our “Soil Your Undies” project in the community garden.  And thanks to our presenter of parody, Wes Brown, our theme song for the month of April is “Without a Thong.”  We hope you will grab your calendars and add some of these special events for April.  Serious topics and light hearted fun!

The Green Team has 90 members and meets on the second Friday of every month at 4 PM (now on Zoom).  We have been active for over 15  years, thanks to the original efforts of resident Margaret Pritchard  If you would like to be added to our email list or have questions, call Jean Lofy 971-347-1189.
